I
obtained my first pc in 2002, having no idea at all how to use it, but
with perseverance, I gradually learn what a useful tool it could be.
Soon I felt the need for my own website, to
show my dogs to the world. A friend built my first site for me, and
while I was very pleased to have it, I found that not being able to
update it or change it whenever I wanted to was very frustrating. It was
also hosted on a ‘free’ web-hosting server, which was very limiting as
to design, and content, and I was soon fed up with aggravating
advertising banners.
Time, I decided, to have a
go at building my own.
In fact, I found that building the site was
rather enjoyable, being very different from my ‘day job’.
Web hosting, I found, was not as expensive as
I thought it would be, and the freedom of being able to put on whatever
content I wanted, and change it when ever I liked was an added bonus.
I tried to make the site as informative,
interesting, and easy to navigate around as possible, and before long
friends were asking me if I could build sites for them.
And so we have Passim Web Design.
